Entry Requirement

There are no entry requirements for this course, however students are required to undertake the Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment and Pre -Training Review. This will assist to determine candidate’s suitability and relevance for the course and identification of any support required.

The ability to obtain a Working with Children Check – Working with Children Check & Police Check required for industry work placement.

Practical Placement

To achieve this qualification the individual must have completed a total of at least 280 hours of work with school age children in a regulated children’s education and care service in Australia. Course Duration

The duration of the School Age Education and Care diploma is 16 months.
